As a Business Development Manager you will identify and reach out to potential customers, share FELFEL’s unique chef-to-office service model, and showcase our signature hospitality, delicious food and other benefits. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • You utilize your industry knowledge and understanding of FELFEL’s benefits to identify potential corporate clients
  • You leverage your extensive network and relationships with senior leaders in key business sectors you know well, whether finance, law, consulting, tech or more in the New York market
  • You use FELFEL's best practices and sales processes and tools – recalibrating and tailoring your message to your different potential clients, and suggesting improvements to our processes and tools along the way.
  • You will be the initial contact for new leads. Your task is to guide potential clients through our customer journey using the right strategy, from initial contact to lunch tastings to contract negotiation.
  • Continuously stay up to date with industry trends, competitors’ value propositions and positioning, and market insights to identify growth opportunities.

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • A passion for food is a MUST:  You enjoy eating and talking about food. An absolute MUST to convince our future clients for our service. If you also love coffee, even better!
  • Professional experience: B2B sales or business development experience is required.
  • Being a savvy networker and connector is a MUST!
  • You are customer centric – you can put yourself in a client’s shoes and connect with them personally, personably and adapt and tailor your interactions according to their needs.
  • You are persistent – You don’t take ‘no’ for an answer, but always seek to be creative and keep the conversation going
  • You have an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor …and strong negotiation skills.
  • You have a goal-oriented mindset and a collaborative and organized work style.
  • Great presentation skills and excellent communicator: You speak, text, email and communicate thoughtfully and compelling. You present ideas with energy and enthusiasm.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Work Suite and experience utilizing a CRM, Hubspot is a plus!
  • You are authorized to work in the United States. Currently FELFEL does not provide visa sponsorship. All applicants must be able to provide legal proof of their eligibility to work in the U.S.

Location: New York City

Compensation Range: The compensation for this role will be primarily dependent on sales performance results (commission-based) with a smaller base salary. Base salary will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, speciality, and training.  For the state of New York, our good faith estimate range for this role, exclusive of performance and base compensations, is $80,000 - $130,000 per year on a full-time basis.
